Madonna is planning to adopt a child, her father-in-law has claimed.

John Ritchie revealed the pop superstar and his son, director Guy Ritchie,
are considering expanding their family in order to seal their love for
one-another following a turbulent few months.

He told In Touch Weekly magazine: "Nothing would make me happier than if
they adopt. How lovely to have another one.

"I'm sure Rocco and Lourdes would love it as they are so close and another
sibling would be super. It is the children that keep them together."

Five-year-old Rocco is the son the married couple had together, while
Lourdes is Madonna's nine-year-old daughter by her former partner Carlos
Leon.

It is believed Guy and Madonna have made tentative plans to adopt a baby
from the Vista del Mar Child and Family Services center, in California, and
have already begun the lengthy adoption process.

A source revealed: "They've begun the application process and are currently
undergoing an evaluation typical of adoptive parents.

"So far, they've been interviewed and fingerprinted to begin the process."

Madonna tries to put on the mature airs when it suits her, but deep down I don’t think she can accept that she is aging, and that the world is not hanging on her every whimsical move anymore. 

And how often does bringing another child into a strained marriage REALLY help ???  Despite the lack of financial security problems with this family, apparently there are other problems.  As lovely as adoption is in general… it, or having a child at all, should not be used as a marital “band-aid”.

I’d hate to be the unlucky kid she picks.  No t.v., no real religion, unhappy parents, etc.  She’s just too stupid for words.

I’d hate to be her kid too when i imagine that a bunch of kids at school would be teasing me every day with my mom’s sex photoalbum where she’s photographed doing it with a lot of ppl other than my dad.

What the hell is the point of the library photoshoot anyway? Oh, i know…“once i was hot, so i could sale sex, now that everyone has seen my vagina, i have to set an I.Q. champ image”.

I’m so damn sick of her and her fake, pretentious British accent make me want to hurl! Her quest for the Fountain of Youth is really very sad. Who wants to see an almost 50 yo running around with her clothes off. In her videos she’s always with people at least half her age. Can you imagine if she made videos with her peers?? YUCK.

This is great.  Her children are geniuses and people are just jealous because they are stuck with boring, unattractive parents who are religious and ignorant.  Television is necessary and at least Madonna takes the time to set limits in the lives of children who are more likely to have none.  She creates stability in their lives. 
It’s nice that people adopt - I hate when people want kids really bad but they only want their OWN kids, meaning:  they don’t really want kids. 
Who is anyone to say how their marriage is working?

I guess Angelina is upstaging her with her pregnancy, Brad, and adopting the infortunate. Madonna loves the spotlight and now she wants to appear more of a humanitarian. I bet she adopts a Romanian baby or one from a latin country.

Because she needs more people to love her; the kind only children can give: without reservation. Now she will go down in history as a kind, compassionate, recovered slut!

Yeah, so it only appears to be special because it is uncommon for regular people to get off their asses and adopt children.  If everyone did it, no one would care.

I have said this a couple of times in Britney posts & I will say it again, having or adopting another child never, & I mean NEVER, ever solves problems in a relationship with spouses. It only makes the root of the problem worse. Someone post how do we know Madonna & her husband are having problems. Well, it has been rumored for months now & word has it (don’t know if it’s true)that she will announce the split after her current world tour is finished. So only time will tell

Well I am assuming that bringing a child into a troubled relationship is still better than letting them starve.  By the way - YOU PEOPLE ARE SO GULLIBLE!
