Marilyn Manson’s friends have blasted his alleged romance with young actress
Evan Rachel Wood.
Those close to the shock rocker – whose wife Dita Von Teese filed for
divorce after Christmas – say Manson, 38, is suffering from a mid-life
crisis because he has chosen a lover exactly like his estranged wife, just
younger.
One friend told People magazine: “It's like he's having a mid-life crisis,
he's with a younger version of Dita."
Manson’s friends say they noticed the striking similarity between the two
women when Wood, 19, turned up for Manson’s birthday party earlier this
month looking just like Dita.
The source added: “She had her hair and make-up done like Dita."
Manson is also said to have received a rather unconventional birthday
present from his new flame, a live scorpion in a cage.
Dita filed for divorce from Manson on December 29, citing “irreconcilable
differences” as the reason for the split.
It has been alleged the burlesque dancer – who had been dating Manson for
seven years before they tied the knot in 2006 – grew tired of his frequent
partying, budding friendship with Lindsay Lohan and his lack of interest in
having a baby.
Marilyn wants a younger version of Dita - perhaps a younger version of himself.
This makes me sad :(.
I hope Manson gets his shit together! And I’m sorry, but there are no “versions” of Dita. She is her own unique person and no one can touch her! ERW is a very talented actress, but she is nothing like Dita!
Well that’s what she get’s; you should never marry a man who wears more makeup than you do!
He’ll be sick of Evan sooner than later, I’m sure. By then, Dita should be on to bigger and better things.

Interesting indeed… I thought these were just empty rumours going around, but I guess that ERW and MM are an item for real?? I find it extremely odd. I mean no disrespect to Mr. Manson, but if ERW is going to go down the “older man” road, I would have preferred to see her with Edward Norton. And yes, Dita is unique and can in no way be replaced… Then again, ERW seems to be a very intelligent girl and rather mature for her age (albeit with a bit of an odd “edge”), so maybe it will be a good, short fling for the both of them.

wow…that is truely weird (even for manson). why he wants an immitation when he can have the real thing is beyond me. evan is only 19, she must be loving the attention she’s getting, but i’m sure she’ll look back and feel pretty stupid about all this someday.

What if dita was one of the biggest boring bitches you could ever meet, but beautiful? You’ll be surprised how beautiful someone could be but a crazy person. Not saying that she was but you never know the real reason why they split, didn’t she file for divorce and not him? So technically she dumped him…the only mistake he’s making is a rebound relationship with a wannabe.
