Well, they lost me. I am sorry, but the simple fact that they are trying to extort money just lost them their cause. ALOT of people now have lost sympathy for them because they are now turning this into a “if you give me your hard earned money then i will forget about what you said” situation. It really makes me sick that they have the balls to do that. I am 100% against what richards said but i do not think they are owed any money. In this country, we have the freedom to say what we want whether or not we agree with it.

Ok-first of all-it has been confirmed that all the so-called “hecklers” said was “I don’t think this is funny” as they were walking across the stage of Richards act-so all this b.s. about them callin’ him a “cracker” was a lie!  So please can it with the “dish it out, but can’t take it” crap!  Just because someone says your not funny as a comedian-gives you the right to start talking about lynching them and turning into a lunatic?!!  Ok-remember that the next time you give your opinion and someone decides to takes out their pistol and blast you. You could dish it out, but you couldn’t take it, could you?

Secondly, since Richards is tryin’ to save his ass by continuing to go on radio shows and wanting to meet with his VICTIMS (and they were his victims!) plus the media is contacting the two gentlemen constantly-so what’s the big deal about them talking about what happened again?  And if they make some money out of this whole ugly incident-then I say Bravo! Might as well get some kind of happiness out of this mess!  All other people finds way to profit off of their misforutunes-I don’t think two more is gonna make a difference. Once again, it amazes me how everyone wants to quit talking about this and wants to shift the blame from Richards to these two fellow, but everyone can’t seem to talk nearly enough about O.J.!! That conversation can go on for days and days, and it would STILL be going on if this whole fiasco hadn’t happen to interrupt it.

I’m sure half of you commenting on this board can totally relate to what Richards said and probably beleive in your hearts of hearts that what he said was right on.  Hey-if you believe that Blacks and other non-whites should still be called niggers and hung up from trees; that male babies should still have their head busted open so they wouldn’t grow up to be Black males to make more Black children-then by all means-quit beating around the bush and just come out and say so!!  These two SHOULD get paid-if just for all the people that were lynched and never received any justice!!  Don’t like it?!! Too damn bad!!

Crissy, your ignorant. Everything that you said just proves it. First off, NO ONE on here has said anything about agreeing with what richards said to these men. And they did call him a cracker, watch and listen to the video. But you could care less about that because apperently YOU are the racist person on here. I am white and i was terribly affended by what was said. However, i do realize that in this country you are free to say anything you want. If it were a black person saying stuff about white people then we wouldn’t even be hearing this story now would we? Chrissy, what if you got sued for comments you made on this website agianst someone? My guess is that you would claim freedom of speech, correct? I guess it only applies when you feel its in your benefit! If this is really offensive to black people then why are most democrats? You do know that senetor larry bird is a former KKK, don’t you? I think the simple fact that the white democrats have the black people as their pawns by keeping them believing the stupidity of their party is one of the biggest problems facing the african american community today. Quit straddlin’ the dang fence on this issue!  If he’s wrong, then he’s wrong!  End of discussion! Why is there always a “but” when it comes to things like this? Who’s getting money for what is really obsolete!  Sometimes our mistakes are expensive and cost us a lot more than we ever imagine they would.  Sometimes that’s the price we pay for our stupidity. No Miss Sleepy-you’re the one that’s ignorant or can’t read because if you don’t like what he said then OBVIOUSLY I wasn’t talking to you-now was I.  And right, I’m a the racist but yet you just stated that if it were a Black person doing this-then it wouldn’t get any time on the media.  That in itself is could be considered racist, but you would say that it was the truth-from your point of view.  But, I would say that if was ignorant, because I can rememeber Black people being blasted and labeled militiant and anti-American because of the racist comments that they made about White people.  I was upset when Mel Gibson went on that tirade against Jewish people.  Yeah-we ALL can get sued for comments-if someone wanted to go that route, so don’t try to use that as some kind of point for me -you better watch out for your own self on that one. And so you mean to tell me that these two men just came into the Laugh Factory where comedians of every race and color perform and just decided to start calling Michale Richards a cracker for no reason?  Yeah-I really don’t believe that!  From what I seen of the tape-Michale Richards was pointing at them while screaming as they were walking towards wherever they were sitting.  I’m sure if they did call him cracker it was in rebutal to what he was saying.  I’m not saying that they should have stooped to his level-but hey-they were excercising their free speech as well right?

I don’t really know why you’r comming after me.  I don’t like it when ANYONE says evil, racial things to any race or group of people.  I also have friends of many different races and I was Definatley raised to believe that all people come from GOD and that we are all of one blood from Adam.  As far as the Democrats duping the African Americans into believing that they got their back-I really don’t know where you got that from.  As an a person with African American blood in me-and the talk around the Black communtiy where I’m from-I don’t know of any Black people who think that the Democrats are the saviour of the African-American community or ANY community for that matter.  I hope you realize that the Democrats didn’t get back into office off of Black votes alone.  Most of the country were tired of the policies of the Republicans - so apparently a lot of people thought that Democrats were the best choice.

Listen - I really don’t want to get into a long, drawn out battle over this.  In this particular situation-I don’t think there will ever be a true meeting of the minds on this topic.  My comments are not address to those who truly feel that Richards was wrong for what he did.  I am soley commenting on those who don’t feel that he’s did anything wrong or can find some kind of way to excuse him for what he did and try to pin the blame on the men he accossted (or however you spell that word) on stage that night.

I think you are the one kidding yourself Ms. Sleepy if you think I think that “whites” should pay black people for slavery.  That suggestion was already put out there and chopped down-so what would be the point of me even bringing that up again?!  We all know that that’s not going to happen-even though others have been monetarily compensated many generations later(Jews, Native Americans, Japansese)by the atrocites committed on them by another group of peoples , but for some reason-it seems to be something outrages when it comes to reprirations for African Americans.  I was saying that if these two men feel like money is the only way to get any sastifaction, then I don’t have a problem with that.  If ANY person was humiliated like that and they felt that they wanted money in place of an apology-then that’s their decision and I respect that.  I might not agree with that - but that how they feel like they have to handle it-then so be it.  THAT’S the type of thinking I have and if you’re glad that you don’t have the apparent capacity to respect the decision that they made to resolve this issue whichever way they saw fit-Ms. Sleepy then that makes me wonder what type of thinking you really do have? And just how many of these “friends of different races” you truly have as well?

I just listened to the whole story above and you mean to tell me that all people can come to the conclusion to is that they want money?!!  And I’m the one who’s supposedly ignorant?!! ROMAL!! Riiiigghhhtt!!!

First of all, the two guy clearly stated that all they’ve ever wanted from Richards was a face to face or direct apology for what he did.  Richards didn’t even show up to be on the interview segment.  If he truly wanted to be sorry-they why did he decline to come on the show?  He’s already being raked through the coals-so what would be the problem with comming on the show?  If not just to say “Well, look-you can all see that I did meet the the men and tried to make an apology”.  Then- if the two kept on going after Richards-people could say that they only want money.  Since Richards had failed to do so-he’s opening up his own self for people to start going after him for money.

Secondly-the only one who mentioned any money was the lawyer!  OF COURSE-she’s going to mention money!  That’s her job!! What kind of lawyer would she be if she didn’t!  And I don’t think that she’s even their lawyer anyway!  I think they just had her on the show because she’s known for being an social activist type of lawyer.  The two men just basically said that they wanted a personal, in-person apology.

So when we try to say other people have narrow minds-be careful that we have enough room in our own brain to even understand and comprehend what they clearly see and hear!!

What makes you wonder that? I have black,asian,hispanic,white,mixed, you name it friends in my life that i love dearly. Luckily, they don’t base their lives around what color is this person or what color is that person. They see through the bs. I think its sad that you don’t. Whatever, im NOT gonna go back and forth with you. We have different opinions about this and many other things, oh well….thats life. I just hope that you can understand that just because someone doesn’t think that these men should recieve money from this ordeal, does NOT make them a racist. I just don’t think that money solves anything in this situation. I went to mcdonals today and they messed up my order and i had to wait. I was annoyed, but i know that a million dollars would make me feel better about the situation too. Should they pay me? I hope you understand what im saying here and see my point. And by the way, family ancestors actually helped the slaves back in the day. And even if they didn’t, it wouldnt reflect on me. Society is way too politicly correct now, and NO that does NOT mean that people should be going around with racial slurs or anything like that its just that it is. One other thing, about the democrats for a second. 98% of all blacks in this country are democrats. Why do you support a party that has a former KKK clan memeber serving them? If you want to express your 1st amendments rights and say evil, hurtful nasty things to people (including those that are putting money in your pockets fine. Larry Bird was an NBA basketball player for the Boston Celtics in the 1980s.
Robert Byrd is a democratic senator from West Virginia.  Senator Byrd joined the KKK in the 1940s when he was 24 years old.  In 1952 (FIFTY FOUR YEARS AGO) he said, “After about a year, I became disinterested, quit paying my dues, and dropped my membership in the organization.”  One more thing:  the NAACP gave Senator Byrd a 100% approval rating in 2006. 
Its pretty funny that you are indignant about something that happened 60 years ago and was renounced 54 years ago, when (former) republican majority leader Trent Lott publicly stated that the country was better under racial segregation at Strom Thurmond’s birthday party just two years ago.  And just last month republican George Allen lost his senate seat because of a racial slur he used (again, in public).  This was a nice complement to his love of the confederate flag. Of course there are countless other examples of republican racism…  most of which have occurred within the last half-century!
