Michelle Pfeiffer is set to appear in a remake of 'Grease'.
The 'Stardust' actress, who starred in the 1982 sequel 'Grease 2', has been approached to join the cast for a new version of the original 1978 hit musical and has her heart set on playing an older character.
Michelle said: "It's a great idea and I hear they would like to get Jessica Simpson for the role of Sandy, she would be good.

"I would love to play the school principal. She is fun and has some great put-down lines. I think I would like the part now that I have been asked."
Michelle regretted taking the part of Stephanie Zinone in 'Grease 2' and believes it set her career back 10 years.
The 'Hairspray' star is quoted by a British newspaper as saying: "I hated that film with a vengeance and could not believe how bad it was. At the time I was young and didn't know any better.
"I hear it's a cult movie now."
Earlier this year, Michelle revealed she can't bear to watch her own movies because they make her cringe.
The 49-year-old actress said: "I don't sit at home and watch my movies. I cannot bear it when I'm channel surfing and there I am, suddenly popping up.
"It's very rare that I can stand it for very long, although when my kids were watching 'Married To The Mob' recently I was able to watch it for 15 to 20 minutes and I was OK."
Who's that guy is right! He's hot on that bike.
