In an interview in the upcoming Rides magazine, Hogan brags that he got let off not once, but twice by cops, after going over 100 mph in one of his other cars, a silver Viper, because he's a Hogan, and that he didn't get a ticket on the same trip until he was stopped doing 123 mph in a 50 mph zone. Cops said yesterday that a silver Viper was the other car involved in the accident.
Nick tells Rides magazine: "In my silver Viper, I was driving from Miami to Tampa. I got pulled over going 107 [mph] and the guy let me off. He’s like, “Hey, I know who you are, just keep going, ya know.” Dude, I got back on the road and two minutes later I get pulled over going 113 [mph]. Another highway patrol from the same county said, “I just heard on the radio that my buddy pulled you over and let you go. I’ma let you go this time. It’s your second warning. You get pulled over again, you’re probably going to go to jail.” Three minutes later, [I was] doing 123 [mph] in a 50 [mph zone]. The guy is like, “Hey, I just heard you got pulled over twice in the last 10 minutes. I got to write you a ticket.”
On driving his other cars:
"Driving a Viper, I have to fill up [on gas] every 50 miles. I’ll get on the bridge and smash the gas, and just as fast as I watch the speed wind up, I can watch the gas gauge drop."
On racing his family:
"We always go out and run each other. My sister definitely can’t keep up, especially with the busted rear bumper [points to a dent on Brooke’s Expedition]. My mom has a V12 Mercedes-Benz 600. My dad’s pride and joy is a ’68 Charger; it’s got 800 horsepower. "
Hulk Hogan's son was racing another car when he crashed into a tree,
critically injuring his passenger, a witness has claimed.
Nick Bollea, 17 - the son of Hulk Hogan, real name Terry Bollea - was
allegedly racing his Toyota Supra against a Dodge Viper Coupe when he lost
control and smashed into a palm tree on Sunday (08.26.07), according to eye
witness Frances Vitalis.
Vitalis, who is a nurse, claims she was riding a motorcycle behind the two
cars and saw them revving their engines and racing between traffic lights.
She is quoted by USA Today newspaper as saying: "I knew something was going
to happen. You know this is a bad situation and these guys are hotdogging."
Hulk Hogan is said to own a Dodge Viper which matches the description of the
car allegedly seen racing his son's Supra, but there is no suggestion the
former professional wrestler played any part in the incident.
Bollea has been fined for speeding on four separate occasions in the last
year, most recently just two weeks ago when he was caught driving at 82 mph
in a 45 mph zone in Florida.
Police spokesman Wayne Shelor declined to comment on the reports because of
the ongoing investigation.
He said detectives have talked to "a number of eye witnesses".
Bollea's passenger John Graziano, 22, remains in critical condition in
Bayfront Medical Center.
Hulk and his family recently starred in reality TV show 'Hogan Knows Best'.

Well hate to say it but he was a dumb ass and maybe this accident will teach him a lesson.

so many things to say:
1. Nick better pray his friend doesn’t die, obviously b/c that would be awful but also b/c he could be jduged with vehicular manslaughter or worse, given his remorseless view of prior speeding incidents.
2. this kid clearly had a lead foot, which means he should NOT have access to fast cars. give this girl a fricking Volkwagon Golf!
3. the fact that the second cop let him off his ridiculous and the fact that the third only wrote him a tciket, instead of seizing his license on the spot for reckless driving is even more unbelievable, cosidering he heard the previous 2 stops over the radio. a cop tried to take my license for reckless driving when i was caught going 20 mph over the limit once, they can do that if you are driving that fast over the limit.
4. his parents obviously need to step in and get nick into some sort of counselling for his speeding, which speaks to a more deep-seated thrill-seeking problem coupled with disregard for other people he is putting in danger when going 100mpg+ so often.
5. 4 tickets in his first year of having a license? take his license away! a driver’s license is a PRIVILEDGE, not a right. abuse it, lose it. take his license since he clearly doesn’t deserve one!
6. if his family is participating in racing him on public streets they should all be reprimanded at the very least, or charged if it can be proven. save the family races for the legal track where you can go as fast as you want under safe and controlled conditions.
7. nick is a busted meth face!
