Noel Gallagher has launched a blistering attack against White Stripes
frontman Jack White for being fat - saying he looks like "f***ing Zorro on
doughnuts".
The outspoken Oasis guitarist, famed for his foul-mouthed outbursts, claims
the US rocker looks terrible after piling on the pounds in recent months.
He said: "What the f**k is he playing at? He dresses like f***ing Zorro on
doughnuts! What the f**k is that about?"
Noel has also slammed White, who earlier this year married model Karen
Elson, for agreeing to write and record a song for a Coca-Cola advert.
He fumed to Britain's NME magazine: "Jack White has just done a song for
Coca-Cola. End of. He ceases to be in the club. He's supposed to be the
poster boy for the alternative way of thinking. Coca-Cola, man. F***ing
hell! Alright, you wanna spread your message of peace and love, but do us
all a f***ing favour. I'm not having that, it's f***ing wrong. Particularly
Coca-Cola, it's like doing a f***ing gig for McDonald's."

For once, I agree with Noel Gallagher. I listen to Get Behind me Satan at least twice a week and roll naked in the liner notes nightly, but I’m afraid Jack is losing some of his cred.

Jack White has struggled enough in the underground scene in Detroit. Many other bands don’t have a chance for commercial appeal like the Detroit Cobras. So I say, more power to him.

Noel Gallagher: not big with punk fans
Glen Matlock was shopping in Selfridges recently
and bumped into Noel Gallagher, who was buying some shirts. They swapped pleasantries and went their separate ways. A few minutes later a fan approached Matlock, shook his hand and said it made his day to meet him. Matlock told the bloke that if he had been five minutes earlier he could have met Noel Gallagher.
The reply: “Well, who wants to meet that cunt?”

With that hair-do, I’m waiting for him to break out the “Daydream Believer” moves! And the unibrow comment by Bob! Even though I always sort of liked Oasis’s music, I never cared at all for those redicuolous tangent-fits that the brothers always have (with the world, Blur, or with each other). And they’re definitely never going to be close to being the Beatles! I think he’s jealous that he didn’t get a job to help promote a big corporation like Coca-Cola; that’s usually why people go off about things like this, when they wish they had the same thing too. (And I agree with Black_Latina’s comment as well!)
