Pamela Anderson used to spend $9,000 a day on make-up.

The former 'Baywatch' star unwittingly confessed to spending the enormous
sum on professional make-up artists because she didn't know how to apply it
herself.

Pammy, who recently married US music star Kid Rock, is now hoping to reduce
her extravagant costs after finally learning to apply make-up herself.

She revealed on her personal website: "The most liberating thing I've done
lately is learn to do my own make-up. I never wore make-up in Canada and
when I moved to Los Angeles Playboy did my make-up and hair so I never
really learned to do it myself. I am not a slave to the industry anymore.
Ha!

"I just did my own make-up at a shoot - I brought my Barbie box of
eyelashes, glue, black eyeliner, eye shadows, pink lip gloss, very little
foundation and went to town. We were all a little nervous at first. But it
turned out fine. Liberation! No more 9 g's a day for makeup bills!

"I learned a lot from pro make-up artists. But what I really learned is you
know yourself best. No stress. 15 minute make-ups are the best."



Meanwhile Pamela is launching her own make-up line.

The former 'Baywatch' star has teamed up with cosmetics company Bed Head to release her own range of hair and body care products and an "easy to use" make-up line.

Anderson revealed: "Bed Head and I have joined forces and we're putting out hair care and body care and an easy make-up line ASAP. I'll be selling the products on the Internet only, through my site. I have a lot of easy things for hair coming out, mostly inspired by my mom."

The blonde actress, who recently married US musician Kid Rock, has also offered a top tip to women on how to feel feminine and sexy in the mornings while looking after a family.

Pammy - who has two sons, Brandon and Dylan, from her relationship with Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee - said: "Take 10 minutes for yourself each morning, before kids and husbands and comb your hair/wash your face, put a little mascara on, and then run around making breakfast. If you feel good then everyone else will too."

The sentence was mis-printed. It should have read “Pamela Anderson gives head in bed.”

$9,000 on makeup a day! Come on now. But then again, if she didn’t have those makeup artists painting her face on, then she wouldn’t be famous at all. They made her face pretty. But to actually spend that much is ludacris.

Pam’s right—there’s a lot to be said for women who continue to maintain themselves no matter what stage they are at in life (single, married, married w/kids).  Keeping yourself up inside and out—and feeling good about it—really does have an effect on those around you.

But $9,000 a day for makeup— WOW !!! 

2 things boggle my mind about this:

1. $9000 a day in makeup billing? i definitely have the wrong job!
2. she can get to be almost 40 and not know how to do her own face.

damn, is everyone in hollywood this helpless? i bet there’s a service where people come to your house and wipe you ass for you!

I cant believe what a fool she is 9 g’s a day !! What boogels me is that her makeup always looks overly done and trashy! For 9 g’sd I better look flawlesly natural.

oh, and what’s with the shower towel out in public?

Wait a minute! She sooo got robbed if she ever paid that for makeup.  And she looks like crap and he’s wearing shower slippers. Such a trashy family.

I agree with Marydoll512 and Jillianhyde. What a ridiculous amount to pay and still end up looking like shit. She was pretty in the early days before the silicone and the nine grand she pays on make up.

i just dislike how everytime she wears lipstick/gloss they line her lips outside her natural lipline….not a good look

She should pay it because ‘SHE CAN’.

She’s gorgeous. She should never be Low Maintenance.

This is a bunch of CRAP. I remember seeing a show about her years ago where they interviewed several Baywatch people, all of whom said she always did her own makeup, and that they thought it looked gross, but she insisted on doing it anyway, and in the end it worked for her. I remember her several times talking about how she always did her own makeup no matter what anyone else thought about it. What a freaking liar. And guess what? She’s launching her own makeup line. So now she is saying that all the crappy makeup jobs were never hers.And her new line is called Bed Head. I’m wagering that she paid for this to be put here.

moose - I think that lipliner alone must be $1500.00 - my thoughts exactly!  Yuk.

Maybe her new line of trinkets could also include a hair brush?
