Paris Hilton is "living like a nun" in a bid to avoid prison.

The hotel heiress - who was has been sentenced to 45 days in jail for
driving with a suspended license - has been told by her lawyers to clean up
her act in an attempt to evade jail.



Paris, 26, has told friends she is quitting alcohol and partying and has
replaced her skimpy outfits with a new demure look.

She also made a public show of playing the loyal daughter by visiting her
father Rick in hospital with a huge get well soon card.



A friend of the socialite's told Britain's The Sun newspaper:

"Paris' attorneys have insisted she live like a nun. She has been strictly advised
to stop acting like a Hollywood brat and appear more humble as they battle
to keep her out of jail.



"They have ordered her to show a judge she has some humility and social
responsibility if she is going to have her sentence reduced on appeal. That
means no booze, no parading round in skimpy outfits, no partying. She's got
to stick with her family and take on a healthier regime."

Paris is due to begin her sentence at California's female-only Century
Regional Detention Centre in Lynwood on June 5.

Just in case her appeal is not successful, the socialite is said to be
learning self-defense so she can protect herself against inmates who have
threatened to target her.



Authorities have announced that Paris could serve less than half her
sentence because of a state directive which reduces the length of
incarceration for good behaviour and to ease overcrowding.

You know, Gambitgirl, I was wondering the same thing… but I don’t think Paris is smart enough to learn from this. Her ego is too overinflated and she genuinely thinks she’s entitled to do whatever the hell she pleases - she thinks her money and status make her important enough to have what she wants when she wants it, and swears she really is “America’s princess”! So I predict that once this mess is over and done with, she’ll go right back to throwing her sexuality and her ego on our faces, just like before. Let’s look at this master plan a tad closer ...  Go outside to waiting photographers wearing a tablecloth dress, holding a ridiculously oversized card faced outward, and feign a downcast pout to appear “serious”.

Problems with plan:

1.  The fake photo op with “The Card”.  There is no way she took time to paste that card together.  She forced the maid to do it.  And how are pictures of her posing ass going to make anyone feel better?

2.  The fake simpleton Sally Jo dress.  Paris, wearing a gingham sundress isn’t going to put a dent in your skank image.  You are the same ho that wore black sequins “to train in” two days ago.  We know after all these years if your ass isn’t hanging out, you don’t feel ready to leave the house.

3.  The fake looking downcast facial expressions. Straight photo op.  Nothing more.

Ayrshire…i read online the other day that the warden of that hardass tent city jail sent a specific request to CA to send Paris to his jail to teach her a lesson and he would make sure she served the full 45. that would be so awesome if that happened…but it won’t b/c they don’t send petty DUI/probation violators out of state for jail (he runs a prison which is different).
