The Smoking Gun:
Paris Hilton has filed a federal lawsuit over a $2.49 Hallmark greeting card that uses a photo of the heiress and her trademarked phrase "That's Hot." In a complaint filed yesterday in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, Hilton alleges that Hallmark has, among other transgressions, misappropriated her image and invaded her privacy with the card, a copy of which you'll find below. According to the lawsuit, the greeting card, which purports to show Hilton's "first day as a waitress," was first distributed earlier this year and remains on sale. Hilton is seeking at least $500,000 in actual damages and a permanent injunction barring Hallmark from further exploitation of her name and likeness. The "waitress" card is one of three recent Hallmark offerings that have featured Hilton.

i get the whole taking her image without permissions, but “invading her privacy”??? since when has this ho ever wanted or asked for privacy? she lives her entire life in the spotlight on purpose. she’s just after more money since Grandpaw cut her out of the will for being an embarassment to the family (he needs to but Kathy Hilton out too while he’s at it).

I guess she thinks she needs the money for her new
Hollywood Hills Gated home. $500,000.00 should pay for a few wrought iron spikes in a fence—so she can have her precious privacy at home—but she is still seeking media publicity in any way she can. I agree
with Mike de Beer—-a hypocrite to say the least.
