Rat’s Milk - No Thanks

image

Heather Mills has urged people to drink rats' milk in a bid to save the planet

The outspoken vegan campaigner claims eating meat and dairy is destroying the Earth and insists the milk of rats, cats and dogs would be a more eco-friendly dietary choice.

The former model - who arrived at Speakers' Corner in London's Hyde Park in a gas polluting 4x4 Mercedes yesterday to give her lecture - ranted: "Why don't we drink rats' milk, cats' milk or dogs' milk?

"The startling truth is that animals farmed for meat and dairy are now one of the greatest threats to the planet.

"The United Nations last year issued a shocking report on the environmental damage being done by livestock. I became a vegetarian for health reasons. Then I found out about the awful animal abuse in factory farms and dairy herds and became a vegan.

"The easiest and most effective way of cutting our contribution is to change our diet and go vegan. It is that simple."

Heather - who is currently involved in a bitter divorce battle with estranged husband Paul McCartney - currently appears in two adverts for Vegetarians International Voice for Animals (Viva!) to encourage people to embrace a plant-based diet to save the world from global warming.

The adverts feature Heather demanding: "End your involvement in this vandalism overnight! Change your diet and change the world!"

Heather's first ad' features the line: "Hey Meaty, you're making me so hot!"

The former glamor model - who lost her left leg below the knee in a motorbike accident in 1993 - appears in a second advert which plays on her disability, warning meat-eaters: "You haven't got a leg to stand on!"

Viva! claim vegetarianism can halt the globe's rising temperatures, which they claim are the result of the methane created by flatulent livestock.

Ok. I lost it at rat's milk and there's no way I'm drinking cat milk either.

So how much farting are these farm animals actually doing? Too much methane? The Ozone layer is the victim of natural farting?

vegans aren’t supposed to consume ANY animals products of ANY, not meat, eggs, dairy, even gelatin. so either she’s not a real vegan to advocate drinking dairy, much less rat or dog dairy…or she’s just fucking nuts.

It’s NOT that easy.  If I don’t have meat for a few days, I get weak.  Sorry, but I am and always will be a carnivore.

god why are they using her face for this! makes the veggie people look as psychotic as she is!

She is a fart.

“Why don’t we drink rats’ milk, cats’ milk or dogs’ milk?”

Because heather you’re not pregnant yet.

Wait, Harry potter doesn’t want me to drink milk ?

i’m all for fixing the worlds problems but these ppl do nothing for themselves by being such god-damn freaks

I think she is trying to make a point. Though it did come off as very kooky.

way to take someone’s words out of context people! you carnivores sure are a smart bunch.

i’m sure the actual statement read something like “...no-one should drink milk. and why cow’s milk? why not rat’s or cat’s milk etc…”

she’s not suggesting the milk consuming world switch to fido’s teats, her actual suggestion is even quoted later in the same post; “The easiest and most effective way of cutting our contribution is to change our diet and go vegan. It is that simple.” vegans don’t eat any animal products. soy milk is a viable tasty alternative.

you’ve twisted words and added emphasis where there was none to get a cheap laugh at “those wacky vegetarian nutbags”. good job.

It is not the animals themselves that produce methane and destroy the ozone. It is the manufacturing process of breeding, housing, feeding and “caring for that many animals. Also growing enough grain to sustain all those animals is enough to feed all the starving people in the entire world.
