Reese Witherspoon has confessed she and her estranged husband Ryan Phillippe neglected each other during their marriage.

The Oscar-winning actress, who filed for divorce from her husband of seven years last month, claims work and family life came between them.

Reese – who has two children, daughter Ava, seven, and son Deacon, three - told Britain’s OK! magazine: “Love is a beautiful thing, but you’ve got to nurture that spirit in getting through the 50 things that come during the day, like driving the kids to school, who is picking up the in-laws at the airport, and working on a script when one of your kids is running a high fever.

“It’s very easy to get wrapped up in your own little world, whether it’s work, the kids or friends, and not pay enough attention to your partner.”

The ‘Walk The Line’ actress also revealed that she expected Ryan to always be there for her and realises she might have taken him for granted.

Reese said: “You might think your partner is always there for you and you always have him or her around when you need them. But that means you might not be asking yourself what you’re doing to make them happy or find out what they would like from you in the way of attention or help.”

So basically she’s saying she wasn’t givin up the booty so he got it somewhere else.  Things went “wrong” when he tripped and his dick fell into abby.  okay.

Well alrighty. Can any of these people keep their private lives private?

That’s sad. She’s a classy lady and I will forever love her for being Elle Woods.

Regarding last week’s People with Reese and Ryan on the cover..

After reading their “story”, boo hoo, I turned a few more pages to see a picture of a soldier returned from Iraq who had been involved in a roadside bombing.  His face had been burned beyond recognition and he had lost his ears, nose and lips, half of his right arm, and all fingers but two on his left hand.  He is 25, now.  His fiancee, who was 19 at the time and had just become engaged to him before he left for Iraq, flew to his hospital bed and never left his side throughout his recovery.  He looks like someone from a horror movie now, poor soul, and has somehow retained his sense of humor…ah, the human spirit.  They recently just got married within the last two months.

Sorry for my rant and I know, what’s this have to do with anything, but, this for me is TRUE love and having REAL obstacles to overcome, not Reese, Ryan, or any other Hollywood horse’s asses with their minor problems.

I love her and have since “Man In the Moon” but it just sounds like to me she is sugarcoating the real fact that Ryan is a cheater…..BUT that really just shows that she has enough class not to act the rest of the trashy celebs that thrive on airing ALL their dirty laundry!!! GO REESE!!!

Divorce is sometimes the answer…unless you want to be miserable for the rest of your life.

That’s what happens when celebs think that they need 100 million dollars extra a year, they work to death knowing they have a partner and a family. There is nothing wrong with taking some time off for each other and the kids, but they choose to sign up for 5 movie roles in a row, how sad.

I agree Agent Hollywood.  Who really needs that kind of money???  Is it really worth all the sacrifices- I’m talking to you Aniston and Lopez so quite crying about not ever starting a family!
