I think that hairstyle ages her 10 years.  Ugly jacket and skirt, cute boots though.

Has that closeup photo been retouched ?  Check out the whites of her eyes, looks like they’ve been photoshopped.  That could explain the flawless skin.

Rihanna can rock any hair-do, and always starts the new trends. I think she is into the punk rock thing, even though she sings pop/rnb. I think she looks gorgeous with this hair style, and least she is not wearing a 3 foot blonde weave!!!

i kinda feel bad for a lot black girls…they have to put up with so much shit to style their hair: weaves, glue, infusions, treatments, at least 2 trips a month to a salon, etc.

i work with a super cool black chick who is going to beauty school part-time and she has different hair everytime i see her b/c she’s always practicing on her own head with extensions, colors, weaves, etc. the stuff she has told me she and other black women have to go through to style their hair sounds like so much trouble…and PAIN with all the chemicals. she said the only way a black woman can ever have relatively easy to manage hair is to have an afro, dread it, or cut cut it so short they’re almost bald. i’ve seen her without any extensions in her hair, seen it natural and it’s in terrible shape b/c of all the stuff she does to it.

she tells me white girls should count themselves lucky. when i told her i only go to the salon 3-4 times a year she couldn’t believe it. she loves doing hair, but says black hair is such high maintainace it’s really expensive and annoying sometimes.

I love it! She looks super-cute.

Gambitgirl, your friend is right! Almost everyday i wish that i could be able to wash my hair, or even get it wet without it getting curly and dry. My bf is cuban/spanish and sometimes when im washing and doing my hair he’ll walk by and say “nice hair” or “wow it’s like…thick” and i hate that so much because i didn’t ask to have hair like this. Black people (not mixed with any other race) are the only ones in the damn world with coarse hair lol…how unfair.

Gambitgirl, tell your friend not ALL white women are lucky.  I am an early grayer, so I cannot go more than 5 weeks TOPS without going to the salon.  Usually I am getting my hair done every 4 weeks like clockwork.

eww riahanna…noooooo.  sorry to hear about your hair, agent.  I had extensions before and while they looked good for a while, it extended my ‘getting ready time’ about 45 extra minutes
