Paris Hilton has been reduced to a sobbing, shivering wreck in jail.

The hotel heiress - who spent her second day behind bars at California's
Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood yesterday (06.05.07) - is
reportedly struggling to cope behind bars.

Inside sources revealed to gossip website TMZ.com: "Paris is scared. She has
been crying on the phone, saying she's not sleeping or eating.

"Paris says her cell is freezing cold. She has three little blankets and no
pillow. She's using one of the blankets as a pillow.

"Paris says she has no appetite and has eaten almost nothing. She's called
her lawyer and family, but found it really hard to talk because there's a
recording in the background telling her, 'You have one minute left. This
call is being recorded.' "



The socialite's fellow inmates have been attempting to cheer Paris up by
voicing their support for her.

As she returned to her cell, prisoners struck up a chant of, "Paris! Paris!
Paris!"

She reportedly smiled and waved.

Some inmates have been coming up to her cell door and one said, "You don't
deserve to be here."

Another made her an origami butterfly and slid it under her door, and she
was also given a drawing book.

The 26-year-old was visited by her psychiatrist Dr. Charles Sophy yesterday.

The Beverly Hills therapist - who has been treating Paris for the past eight
months - visited the star with her lawyer Richard A. Hutton for about two
hours.

I wonder if she will get ALL the mail… people might try to send her poison.

TMZ has learned that Paris Hilton has not only had her sentence cut short, she is already out of jail.

Unimpeachable sources tell TMZ the deal was sealed yesterday and that Hilton made her exit early early this morning.

She was originally sentenced to 45 days in jail, but that was reduced to 23. She served a total of three days.
