I love her.  She’s definately not part of the cookie-cutter no-talent stupid-ass group bitches that I can’t stand (i.e. Paris, Jessica Simpson and her Sister Acid Reflux.

I’m glad Shakira is starting to gain more recognition now - she’s been around for at least 10 years, always coming up with great material (written by herself) that is sweet and original, with a fantabulous voice to boot.

She can dance her ass off, but she is not that sexy looks wise

Shakira is HOT and beautiful! I’m mesmerized by her belly dancing every time I watch her. I would totally go gay for her!

I’ve loved Shakira since I first heard her “Pies Descalzos” album some years back. I do admit I was disappointed when she came here and did the blond thing (my friends thought she sold out) but I’ve stayed a fan!

And like kasume said, she writes her own songs, kicks major butt, and when I saw her first interview, she didn’t even speak English, so I totally respect her intelligence and talent to write her songs in English now!

she’s hot and can definitely move…but the MTV award were soooo boring last night.

and wtf does beyonce have to be so pissed off about. i hate her new song ring the alarm, it’s so contrived and fakeass and the trenchcoats were stupid in her dance routine. don’t nobody wasnt to see you looking like inspector gadget B! take your damn clothes off!

Shakira is a hot bitch! I love her. No body can move the way she moves ( i try) I really loved her costume.

I like her music, it has flavour and is really catchy.
I just really don’t think her dancing is all that impressive. The only thing I ever see her do is contort her belly while moving her hips.  Occasionally she moves her arms about..
I can do that and I can belly dance.  I’ve had no training and I’m not even latina/spanish. If only I could carry a tune.
I do however admire Shakira’s personality.
She seems like a very humble and down to earth girl.

I don’t like her bleating voice.  And she’s got a Jennifer Anniston chin.  Glad she didn’t get the bolt-ons though, she looks good small on top.

I agree she is cute and natural and seems to work hard for whatever she attains. But I cannot stand the sound of her voice, I’ve tried to listen to her music, but must change it after 30 seconds or so. Sorry. Still like her though.

Man! she cant sing to save her life, luckily she can shake her asssss!  Her music is original though, but it would sound better if she could actually hit a note. 

She gave a damn good performance, so for that I’m going to forvige her terrible singing voice. 

Anybody noticed that after having fried her hair by going blonde, now she’s opted for way too many hair extensions.  Shakira, darling, is looking a little obvious.  Tone it down hun!  I know you dont have that much hair, even when you had it naturally black, it was never that full.

All this… and you’re still better that J-Ho.  Keep up the authenticity.

I couldn’t help but zaghareet for her when she started dancing, she is one of my belly dancing idols!

i like shakira but she always looks semi awkward when she dances, her movements are too jerky.  i just feel like saying “ok, ok, you’re sexy, now stop trying so god-damn hard…”

i dont think shakira tries too hard.  it’s just belly dancing.. and that’s what it’s supposed to look like.  she is amazingly hott.  naturally pretty.  she is a really cool song writer.  I admire that.. especially since english is her second language.  BUT!  i hate to admit… she can’t sing live.  oh well.  her dancing and song writing make up for it.  i <3 her. :D

fuzzer . well said ,I feel the same way but i would not go gay some of you look better then she does some of you she could not hold a candle to. the way I really see she looks ok and janicedickinson from looking at you I put both of your picture together,this woman can’t hold A CANDLE TO YOU if you look a little closer this is havy makeup and you not wearing any I am sorry but to me you look a better then she does. the only thing about you your not a movie star.but you look a hell of a lot better them she does. thats just the way I see it. kissthecat

I think shes a natural beauty and seems really down to earth. I wish i could shake my ass the way she does!!!

First of all lets get it clear, if you had to choose from intelligent lyrics, good moves and most of all talent (shakira), to just plain stupid who pays other to write their songs(Parasite Hilton, Jessica S.and sister, Britney, etc.), who would you choose.  come on, Shakira has the best ingridients that an artist should have.  And it shows that if you dont like her, basically you dont have good taste.

I’d hit that . . .  three or four times.

I can’t stand her voice. That nasal sound is irritating.

That hair looks like she’s trying to look like Beyonce or J-Lo.
