Jackass star Steve-O has become the latest celebrity to strip off for an animal rights' organization's anti-fur campaign. The tattooed stuntman went naked for the PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) promotion. In the print adverts, unveiled today, he can be seen leaping into the air, nude, next to the words: "I'd rather go naked than wear fur." It adds: "Be comfortable in your own skin and let animals keep theirs." PETA claims animals are exposed to extreme cruelty by the fur trade.
i find it interesting PETA uses a guy who staple guns his own scrotum to his thigh as part of his act as a spokesperson against animal cruelty.

gambitgirl, There is a difference between mutilating yourself and mutilating others. If I wanted to cut myself right now, for example, I have all the rights in the world to do so, but it would be wrong for me to force this on others. If he enjoys doing crazy things to himself, that’s his problem. Hurt yourself, but leave others out of it. Just because you may enjoy something, doesn’t mean somebody else will.
And the animals did not CONSENT to being skinned alive for their fur and skin!!!!!!

erin and sexcandy…i know, i know Steve’s idiodicy isn’t realted to animal abuse.
but any group that uses Steve-O, one of the biggest morons and most obnoxious people on tv as their spokesperson doesn’t exactly rally me to their cause.
i gotta ask…is Steve-O a vegetarian? if he’s not then why’s PETA using him? pam anderson and alicia silverstone and a lot of their other spokespeople are vegetarians which makes peprfect sence.
but Steve-O is a guy who snorts wasabi on a dare then vomits it back onto his plate on TV 9seriously, i wish i could unsee that!). he doesn’t exactly strike me as a guy who looks at a steak and say “no thanks.”
