Former publicist reveals more inside the relationship between former best friends Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian.

"The Bag" - After telling Kim how hot her Louis Vuitton bag was in her NYC hotel room, she went into the story of the 'bag' which made a splash around the world as photos were taken of Kim and Paris leaving an Australian airport a few months back. What is fascinating to me is, Kim said she had both bags and Paris was begging to use one of them as she exited the airport to complete her look. Kim nearly refused as it is a one of a kind bag, however after much begging from Paris she obliged and let Paris use it on the terms she would not put anything inside of it or get it scratched. How the hell would Kim get a 'one of a kind' bag before Paris???


"Recent Paris Run-In" - As I was working out the details for Kim's first appearances on the runway for LA Fashion Week, she told me she was gearing up for a big dinner with Jennifer Lopez with some partying to follow. This was when on March 15, she left new beau Tyson Beckford for a night out with rocker Pete Wentz, who joined Kim after escaping from on-again girlfriend Ashlee Simpson. As Kim and Pete were getting cozy at Teddy's nightclub, Nikki Hilton was at a table with her boyfriend and Paris was at another table with some friends. Kim was upset that there was so much tension and at the fact Paris would not say a word to her. When I acted as if I was shocked, she said Paris wouldn't have caused a scene because of all their friends that were there. The whole next day she debated whether to e-mail Paris about the weirdness in hopes to settle some dust prior to their separate appearances during LA Fashion Week.



"Why Paris was Over Kim" - Kim said that Paris was getting away from Kim because of multiple people coming up to her and speaking about the sex tape of Kim and Ray J. Paris apparently was more than upset that Kim was now getting noticed and being recognized as the new "Paris Hilton of 2007." Even when I would talk to editors of magazines and other media outlets about featuring Kim, they would comment on how they are moving past Paris in hopes to bring someone fresh to the spotlight, like Kim. One day Kim would say how much she hated the whole 'Hollywood High School' like scene, yet the next she was hanging out with the same crowd.



"Nick Cannon Threatens to Drop out of Fashion Show" - When I got a text message saying that Nick Cannon was to show at the same time, due to a last minute change, as Kim's fitting for Christian Audigier. She was ready to make him jealous, however she felt maybe she wasn't her best this day. I had make-up taken to her car and she went up to the fitting with her BFF Caroline DeMore. After the tense fittings, Nick was furious and threatened the designer if they were to use Kim he was dropping out. Everyone scrambled and decided to move on without Nick and keep Kim. She was happy when I told her this news.

However things soon changed as Nick was talked back into doing the show. Kim then scrambled to try and get her hot new boy-toy, Tyson Beckford to appear with her, but he declined. In the end tension was evident with Nick and Kim during the show, but all resided in the end as they went their separate ways.

"Kim on Plastic Surgery" - Kim wanted to have her nose done. But after visiting Paris Hiltons plastic surgeon, she said she was too scared after all that they told her about the procedure itself. To this day, Kim has admitted to having no plastic surgery, but consulting about it.
