I gotta love The Hoff…he’s like the modern day William Shattner. he completely acknowledges his giant cheese factor and just goes with it and uses it to keep making bank.
there are so many people in Hollywood who are cheesy and lame who fight against it and act all upset and indignant when anyone hints they are less than top notch in H-wood. The Hoff embodies a certain type of dignity and embracing of one’s chessiness and working with it, just like Shattner.
Shattner has probably made more money of Star Trek conventions, Trek shows in syndication, and Priceline commercials than a lot of folks in Hollywood who fight being relegated to the B-list. I think The Hoff is just emulating him and going with the flow…hey he’s still employed often, still huge in Europe (don’t ask me why!), and making more money than anyone else from Baywatch (except Pammy of course). where the fuck are Yasmin, Tracy Edwards (VH1 show, puh-leeze!), or any of the other dorks from that show.
P.S. Knight Rider was the shit when i was growing up! Everyone I knew wanted K.I.T.T. Trans Am!
