Katie Holmes isn't very happy with her husband Tom Cruise and frequently makes lengthy calls to best friend Victoria Beckham.

Us Weekly reports:

"Katie has been crying over the phone," "She's frustrated. Tom is denying her every single thing."

The insider adds: "Once, Katie and Victoria talked on the phone for four hours."

And Beckham has seen how domineering Cruise can be firsthand. A source close to the 44-year-old actor tells Us that he is relentlessly trying to convince the ex-Spice Girl, 32, and her husband, soccer star David Beckham, 31 (who are moving to L.A. this year), to convert to his religion.



"Victoria is sick and tired of Tom being on her back about Scientology," says the source.

"Victoria is an old-fashioned British woman who believes in God. She finds it quite rude that Tom is bugging her so much. Not too long ago, Tom left 18 messages in one hour to get them to join the church."

The source adds Victoria has put her foot down to Tom's pressure. "When she says no, she means no."

Why am I suddenly respecting Posh?  I’m sure David B. gives her full reign of her own life, unlike dictator douche bag Cruise does to Katie.  I bet they all aren’t so palsy-walsy once the Becks move to LA.

Katie seems like the type of woman who would run to her room and cry on the bed. And if that is true about the phone calls then it’s time for the beckhams to think about who they make friends with.

Is US weekly now catching on to what we have been saying the last 2 years? Tom is a mind-control Scientology cult freak & Katie was warped into his spell. I now have a new found respect for Posh for standind up to Cruise-azy by saying NO to Scientology. And I agree with vtgal 100%

Somehow, I’m not surprised that Tiny Tom would do something like that.

If this story is true then Katie should just up and leave. It’s not worth it, sticking it out with someone who torments you like that. It doesn’t matter if he’s as powerful as Tom Cruise…a jerk is a jerk is a jerk..

Well, if there is any truth to this story, you can pretty much assume the friendship between the Cruises and the Beckhams is going to be over before they even become neighbors. Tom isn’t going to approve of his wife having ANY sort of life outside of his closeful watch, and Victoria isn’t about to let Tom-Tom call the shots. I think Katie knows she’s screwed though, cuz’ she won’t ever be able to leave him unless she leaves behind that baby. She messed up big-time and now she has to live a lonely life until Tom decides for her that the marriage is over. Judging by his last marriage, I’d say just short of the 10 yr. mark. Oh well….no sense crying about it now Katie. We all told you so. You should have been paying closer attention.

Kate needs to get down on her knees and beg for forgiveness from God, since she turned to a cult. That kate has got to be a weird chick to leave her religion for a crazed cult. She needs to just get out of that whole relationship with tiny tom. I am sick of hearing about these two already. They are strange and so is EVERYBODY who is in that cult. Well, it’s Katie’s own damn fault for marrying this man, it was her childhood fantasy. Her dream has unfortunately become a nightmare & I can’t say I feel sorry for her

i feel bad for Katie…like every woman i know, when you fall hard for a guy, no matter how big a loser everyone else tells you he is, you’re going to cling to him until you figure it out for yourself. no one could convince her Tom is a crazy, egomaniacle, dwarf….she had to figure it out for herself.

i bet the reason she hasn’t lost him yet is b/c she’s afraid he’s take Suri from her…look at his other 2 kids. He appears to have primary or even sole custody b/c we NEVER see Nicole Kidman with their children.

Tom would NEVER let Suri go, he wants to raise her in Scientology and have her go to Scientology school just like his adopted kids.

we dont need to worry about Tom getting to keep Suri, we just need Katie to admit publicly that Chris Klien is the father and get DNA test to prove it, then may she and Suri be free from this freak show.
