Victoria Beckham has allegedly infuriated the staff of Barneys New York with her diva-like shopping sprees.

The Spice Girl has reportedly been buying vast quantities of designer outfits from the Beverly Hills branch of the department store but then returns them after they have been altered to fit her tiny frame - meaning they are too small to sell to anyone else.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: "She buys so much in every department.

"But she demands it all be special-ordered. And then she returns tons of it and they can't put her altered clothes on the sales floor!"

A representative for Barneys said: "I have heard nothing of the sort."

Victoria, 33, is a size 00 and allegedly has a 23" waist - the same size as the average seven-year-old.

Posh Spice is currently on a strict diet, along with the rest of the Spice Girls, to ensure she looks her best on their reunion world tour.

Victoria is said to eat a low carbohydrate, high protein diet which mainly consists of sushi, edamame beans and quinoa.

the size of a 7 year old? seriously either she4 has the metabolsim of a hummingbird, doubtful given she’s on a diet, or she’s got a fucking eating disorder.

and WTF is up with returning clothes, especially after they have been altered…why the hell do the stores take them back in the first place. and that’s cheap as hell.

Her body used to be fuller. I’d say she has an eating disorder.  Takes a lot of work to stay that thin.

Ok, here’s a suggestion for Barneys: When Posh brings the clothing back, tell her NO. I don’t know of any store that takes altered clothing back. Get a clue.

I didn’t know being on a diet shrank you down to a size 00 unless you really watched those carbs and a low fat dessert of fingers down the throat.

1. edamame beans and quinoa is a very HIGH carb diet. That is, these are foods extremely high in carbohydrates.

2. are they talking about the average size waistline of a 7-year old on a doctors chart, or the average size waistline of the average 7-year old in real life - cuz the average 7-year old in this decade - try 36-inch waist.

looking at this photo, i do belive her waist is smaller than her son’s.

I think her son’s calf is bigger than hers !  This is insane.  She probably doesn’t even menstruate any more.  She’s probably at risk of osteoporosis too.  Ugh, what women will do to their bodies in the name of fashion.  It’s disgusting.

Also regarding comment that 23” might be average in the US (implying of course that US kids are fat) ... I grabbed a random UK clothing brand, Boden, and checked their kids clothing sizes.  23” is 58.42 cm.  For Boden, that is the waist size for a 7-8 year old.  So if anyone wants to proceed down this path and still claim that 23” is too big for a normal-sized 7 year old’s waist, please post another Euro company’s sizes.

23” = 58.42 cm.  I checked a random UK clothing web site, Boden, and their size chart indicates that this is an appropriate waist size for a 7-8 year old.  So Flippo, if you want to imply that a 23” waist is too big for a 7 year old, please direct us to other companies’ sizing charts to back up your claim.

Btw, Posh’s kid’s calf appears to be bigger than her thigh.

Here is an example that Britney should take on. Not on the intense highly stupid diets but the way she carries on her life and love of life aka shopping w. her boys intact. Clever woman.

well, i do have to admit - she look spectacular in that photos. seriously. i don’t know what she looks like in ‘real life’ so i might find myself surprised - or shocked. but in the photos ... dang - i would kill for that.

Sorry but 23” waist is not that unusual.  It’s thin, yes, but not freakish.  Many, many, MANY models have 23 or 24” waists - the typical fashion model goes between 22 and 25”, most common being around 24. 

Most designer jeans are sold in 24” sizes. 

But yes, Americans are hideously fat and love pointing the finger at those who would rather not gorge on McDonalds, as they are wont to do.

There are some “hideously fat” Americans, but I’ve also seen plenty of the same-sized people in other countries, including countries in Europe.

If you think Posh has an enviable figure, then you’ve been brainwashed.  Women are supposed to have fat on their bodies, their bodies do not function well without it.  Women with ultra low fat levels stop menstruating and are at great risk of osteoporosis.  Skinny is not healthy, and yet for some reason skinny is now the desired body type ... if you can’t think for yourself, that is !  Mildly overweight people actually live longer.

Btw, I would also like to point out that Posh likely has her grotesque bolt on breasts because her body fat is SO low her own breasts are completely non-existent.  Is this what we should all do ?  Diet down to near-nonexistence and then have plastic bags filled with silicone sewn under our deflated breasts ?  Good plan !  All in the name of fashion, people !

And another thing ...

It appears that nearly all skinny women smoke.  I assure you, smoking is FAR worse than being overweight.  Again, all in the name of fashion.  Too bad smoking not only poses a huge health risk, it also causes all of these fashionable skinny women to have unsightly wrinkles all over their lips from puckering hundreds of times per day to suck in the noxious smoke.

I myself have a 24 inch waist and I am also a non-smoker. Just exercise and try to eat right. I do love junkfood sometimes though which is good to have in moderation. But Posh on the other hand looks disgusting. She used to look very healthy and fit back in the day. Ladies, please don’t listen to these celebs. Men like curves not boney butt syndrome.
