Victoria "Posh" Beckham tells People:
"I think there's a big difference between someone having an eating disorder and someone who is controlled about what they eat. There's a big difference, and every now and then of course I go out and eat what I like. But I do try to be quite disciplined in the way that I eat."
The weight can't be going to her implanted boobs.

What does the former Spice Girl eat?
"I eat really healthy, I love Japanese food, lots of fish, any sort of fish, any sort of vegetable, lots of fruit, that kind of thing."
Victoria also thinks models are just naturally thin and just because you are doesn't mean it's due to an eating disorder.
She said:
"All of the girls – I know quite a few models and they actually eat, they're just naturally thin girls. And just because you're thin it doesn't mean you have an eating disorder. What is more of a concern is the age of the girls. Some of the girls on the catwalk are 13 years old and that is more worrying to me than the size of the girl, to be honest."

She can't be talking about this model.

Ok, she’s a fucking IDIOT. As a recovering bulimic, I could tell her that CONTROL is EXACTLY what eating disorders are ABOUT.
When everything else in life is out of control, food is one thing you have complete control over.
Yes, it is about body image too, but it’s mostly a control issue.
Smack her, please.
That runway model needs to lay off the burgers and pizza… she has got a bit too much meat on her.
Victoria’s fucked and so is her thinking. She tends to forget that she’s a role model of sorts herself.
Runway models are naturally skinny, okay, that’s why they’re dying of anorexia I guess.
Where the hell is that runway picture from? An Auschwitz fashion show? God, that poor girl will be dead soon. There’s been at least four models in Brazil that have died from anorexia this year alone. I agree Pairssucks, Posh is an idiot. She has a poor body image of herself, she shouldn’t talk. She just starves herself and gets plastic surgery instead of facing her problems.
I don’t think she’s wrong at all. Control and self-dicipline are two good things to have. Keeps us from from pigging out on sweets. I’ve always been thin and have always tried to eat healthy. Doesn’t mean I have an eating disorder, means I don’t want to be overweight or have health issued associated with being overweight as some do.
Yeah, Jillianhyde, self-control and discipline are good things to have - they keep you from becoming obese in these modern times where everything is supersized and deep fried. However, you can tell Posh is talking pure BS to cover her ass in the press - as a skinny girl with body image issues myself, I know how easy it is to get carried away when controlling your food intake. And just like parissucks, I can tell Posh has serious problems in that department - you can just tell she’s the kind of woman who is so worried about her figure, she’ll only allow herself to eat 3 bites of chicken, a little bit of the veggies, and maybe a piece of lettuce too. There’s no way that woman is a healthy eater - she may eat “healthy” things, but definitely not in a healthy manner.
Oh, and one more thing - Posh is doing a great disservice to hundreds of girls out there by making those ignorant statments about models. Sure those girls are skinny to begin with - but they have to live on cocaine, tobasco-sprinkled lettuce hearts and black coffee to become “runway thin”. I’ve seen many real-life models in London, and they look absolutely disgusting in the flesh, like concentration camp survivors. There’s nothing “natural” about that!
posh is right…BTW, that model looks fine to me-i look the same and eat whatever i want and don’t diet [i have been a vegetarian for years].
i think some of the girls on here are misinformed-if you know someone who is naturally thin and looks like the runway model above without any exercise/dieting you wouldn’t say “oh she has anorexia” you would say “she has a high metabolism”.
I know models too and most are just genetically lucky, young/still growing or a combination of the two…most of the time NOT anorexic-sorry everyone.
to the girl above…the runway models look great in clothes [hence clothes hanger] but usually don’t look as good out of them without implants LOL which leads you back to posh-can’t win unless you are Gisele
even Giselle has had a nose job and has implants!
Jillianhyde…..yes, control and self-discipline are good, but people who suffer from ED have control “issues” (like Posh, I have never been overweight, but ‘perfection’ became an obsession for me). Look at her- we’ve all watched for the past 5-6 years…that lady has some SERIOUS issues.
I have plenty of empathy when it comes to ED’s…believe me, it sucks being affected by one.
I have no idea about eating disorders. I just stated that it takes control to watch what you eat. I’d hate to have an ED of any kind which is part of why I have always tried to only eat healthy. No sweets. The pictures I’ve seen of people with eating disorders make me cringe and yet they have no idea how bad they look. I don’t think Posh has one. She’s no smaller than I am and I’ve got four kids. And there’s nothing wrong with wanting to be perfect as long as you’re not harming your health.
all i can say at this point is that i wonder what posh is feeding that left boob? lmao! who thinks it looks like a melon from the photo next to her?
as for that model? I always say, never too thin or too rich. it takes a very thin person to shock me.
that photo shocked me. like the others, i have to know whose runway she is on. :gasp:!
uptowngirl… she’s probably on Janice Dickinson’s runway. I swear every time I catch that bitch on TV she’s yelling “FAT FAT, TOO FAT” at one of her models.
VB needs to get a fucking clue or maybe a stay in a recovery program.
This stupid bitch has no normal life and it seems she can’t think and act as normal person either.
Remember her when she was a Spice Girl? She wasn’t that thin in those times!
“What is more of a concern is the age of the girls. Some of the girls on the catwalk are 13 years old…”
How true- That is the first time she actually said something intelligent.
oh, and the model on the pic loooks like the corpse bride.
i think many people (including myself) are “controlling” in what they eat. i don’t eat mcdonald’s everyday and i also am a stickler about not eating beef/red meat, ect…
btw, i love you moose. everything u say makes sense!
Everytime I look at her it amazes me that she snagged David Beckham. WTF? He is as HOT as they come….....HOW did she manage to get him?
No sweets ? haven’t you heard, dark chocolate is good for you !
And it is not about control. It is about making the right choices and treating yourself once and a while. Geez!
The only thing thing i agree with in the statement is having control over what you eat. Some people don’t have control and they pig out on whatever they lay their hands on and some people have control over what they like and don’t like. If they choose to eat healthy then that’s fine but eating healthy is not gonna give you a body like that deathly model in that picture. There is no way that is naturally thin, naturally thin people are thin but not like that come on. Victoria needs to wake up and stfu about weight since she herself wasn’t always 20lbs.
Okay that runway model that looks fine to you (noticed how pissed she looks, probably because she didn’t eat for days) is the late Ana Claudia Reston! She died last month (right after that show) from heart failure due to anorexia! When her mother tried to tell her she was getting too thin, Ana told her she could make more money for the family that way (they were semi-poor from Brazil). So I’m glad that Victoria (whom I still love since we share a name and all) hangs out with naturally thin models, but I guarantee her that at least one of them is puking her brains out to stay that way. And that’s just the truth.
Two other “naturally thin” models died from eating disorders this year, one of them only weeks a apart from Ana Claudia’s demise. What a shame. I love fashion just as much as the next chick, but it’s not worth dying over.
