The former No Doubt singer - who already has a 20-month-old son with husband
Gavin Rossdale - was thrilled when the pregnancy was confirmed at Los
Angeles Cedars Sinai hospital.
A source said: "They found out at the hospital and couldn't wait to share
the news with everyone. They're absolutely ecstatic, it's something they
both really want."
Last October, Gwen, 38, revealed she was keen to have more children but
wanted to wait until she had finished her tour, which is now over.
She said: "Obviously I'm in a race to have another one but I don't want to
do it while I'm on tour."
The 'Hollaback Girl' singer says becoming a mother to Kingston has changed
her life for the better.
She said: "I love him so much. He is the best thing that's ever happened to
me.
"This morning he woke up at 6:00am and I was like, 'OK, I'm going to die right
now.' I definitely don't get enough sleep, but I'd rather spend time with
him.
"I've got this extra-fun, amazing little guy who just wants to hang with
me."
