Jessica Simpson's family "love" her new boyfriend.
The singer started dating American Football star Tony Romo last month and
friends say he has already impressed his potential in-laws.
A source said: "Jessica thinks he is hot! He's a really nice guy and her
family loves him."
Last week, Jessica hired a private jet to fly her to see Tony after she had
filmed a Disney special in Florida.
The source added: "Jessica was a little nervous but was so happy to see
him."
The smitten pair spent Thanksgiving with Jessica's family and are set to
attend her best friend Cacee Cobb's birthday party on Saturday night
.
A friend said: "She wants all her friends to meet him. They are going take
it easy and hang out at Jessica's house."
It was recently revealed Jessica was set up on a date with Tony by her dad
Joe, after he realized the pair were perfect for each other.
A source said: "Joe and Tony have been friendly for a while. Joe is a huge
Dallas Cowboys fan, and Tony has always had a crush on her - he even said on
his website about a year ago that it was his dream to date her.
"Jessica has been in Nashville and Dallas recording her new country album.
When Tony found out, he called Joe and said, 'I know she's not dating anyone
right now, can I take her out for a drink at least?
"Jessica said it was OK for Joe to give Tony her number and they hit it off.
They've been dating for a couple of weeks now, and Jessica is so happy.
She's been texting everyone about how great he is."
Jessica was previously married to singer Nick Lachey.
