Star Jones Message For Joy Behar

According to the Daily News, a recently fired Star Jones has apologized to Joy Behar, her former co-host of The View for not being a better friend.

"I guess I really need to apologize to Joy."

She revealed:

"Let me be honest: Joy and I used to be very good friends. I actually helped pick out her house and we went on vacation to Europe together.

"She and I had the weight issues. We always talked about dieting and made fun of each other's salads and stuff. ... When my health decreased, I didn't confide in her as I always had. I wasn't able to. I just wasn't able to say, 'Joy, I can't breathe. Joy, I'm scared. Joy, I can't walk.' And like some of the supporters of the show, I can understand why she felt left out. I have to assume she was feeling, 'Why isn't Star, my friend, sharing this stuff with me?' "

Although Behar reportedly hates Star with a passion, Jones believes "friends" should apologize.

"Friends apologize to one another, and I owe that to her. I've been thinking about that for a while, and I've been praying about it."
